Shipco Tugs 2008-2010
These tugs were for the mining industry in Western Australia. Besides insulating the engine room, drive room, bridge and accomodation, we also undertook a lot of engineering and sheet metal tasks. These included profile cutting the name plates, cutting and fitting aluminium floors, shaft covers and steel bearing covers.
Point Forward Project 2009 - NZRC
Installing new insulation and cladding on brown fields project at New Zealand Refining Company. Completed on schedule and with an excellent safety performance. This project also include two major shutdowns with high staff involvement and tight deadlines. (March and September). The duration of this project for Ross Insulation was from January to December 2009.
Golden Bay GTM Project 2006
The Golden Bay Project was commissioned by Transfield Worley in 2006. Our involvement in this project required insulation and cladding of new gas train ducts and filter house. This project presented many new challenges for Ross Insulation such as development and design of large cladding that would be easy to fit by our onsite crew in tight work spaces.
